The hotel is maintained to a very high standard. The rooms are well finsihed and beds are comfortable. the breakfast bufet is varied and good.

On this trip the air conditioner in my did not appear to be working.

Very characterful and attractive hotel in a lovely location. Room had a real period feel to it with exposed beams and the like.

The staff struggled to keep up with the breakfast queues which made the wait very protracted.

The hotel staff were so friendly and the level of service and quality of food was excellent. The whole ambience of the hotel as it is so old and has so much character and history. I was on business but would definately love to take my husband sometime. Fab

Well-kept and nicely presented accommodation. 1) Someone rang the hotel and was trying to contact me at my room. The receptionist was very busy, she did not give the person calling a chance to ask what he wanted and suggested he give her his telephone number so she could call him when she was less busy. It would have taken less time to connect the call through to me than take his number down !! 2) The minibar fridge was not working and I was told they could not fix it. I was offered the chance to leave any perishable food or drinks in the hotel fridge.

Our stay in the hotel was agreable. Unfortunately it was very loud. The noise comes from the marketplace. Kinds regards Dr. jacobi
